The resort is in a great location, very quiet and peaceful, and the gardens are beautiful. We ate at the hotel restaurant for dinner twice and once for lunch by the pool and all meals were excellent, among the best we had in Thailand. The prices for food and drinks was very reasonable and there was a happy hour at the pool bar from 3-5pm with cocktails at 2 for 200 baht. The pool area was lovely with plenty of beds and loungers. The pool was shallow and was never too busy. There was a handy 7-11 opposite the hotel. The beach was a 5 min walk - the one to the left was busy, with lots of shops and bars etc, the one to the right was almost empty and a lot more relaxed. There was a lot of wildlife to see around the grounds - I met a monitor lizard one morning. At sunset every evening bats swooped around our courtyard seating area which was amazing to see. Others have mentioned wasps and ants and I can only assume that these are seasonal and more likely to be a problem in the summer months- we didn’t see any. The breakfast buffet was very good with a large range of western and Thai dishes. The hotel was full but there seemed to be enough seating. We used the spa - again, lovely staff and great service. Overall, a very relaxing stay.

Pakasai resort were kind enough to upgrade our rooms so that my family could be closer together. The room was perfect with enough space and the bed was the most comfortable me and my husband have ever slept on. The pillows were so soft and the air con worked great to keep us cool. The pool area was big and had lots of different style of seating and it was great to have some seating under cover for when the rain set in. There is a bar at the pool and you can order food. There was a dining area downstairs near the entrane which was great for just chilling, reading and enjoying a drink if it rained etc. Staff were so beautiful and friendly and lastly the location was perfect, just a short walk to the beach and main area od shops, restaurants, massage places etc.

Staying at Paksai was totally fine. Nothing reall, sticks out to being special or even superior to other place, but there are also not great things to criticise. Although the room is generally fine, it definitively has seen better days. When we arrived the room smelt and the sheets had, seemingly blood, stains on it. But the next day it was better. The pool is okay but not great. The breakfast is tasty but definetly not the best I've ever had Pretty good is the location. You have a 7-Eleven in front of the hotel and a super nice restaurant is right around the corner. But all in all just a mediocre experience.

Nicolai

Very nice, spacious rooms, with great cleanliness. Everything looks like the online advertisement. You also notice that the ressort takes steps to be as environmentally friendly as possible, limiting waste. The location in Ao Nang is great, trips, stores and the night market are in walking distance and a 7-11 is right next to the property. Everything, including „public“ toilets and the pool are perfectly clean and houskeeping is doing a very good job. Overall a pleasant stay. The restaurant, while being on the more pricy side is very good.

Nick

We absolutely loved the immersion in nature. We saw monkeys (the kind that don’t steal your food) in the trees at the resort’s breakfast and heard the sounds of cicadas sitting on our porch at night. We truly loved how peaceful the resort was, yet still walking distance to catch boat trips from ao nang beach. We also sincerely appreciated the dedication to environmental conservation which was evident in everything from the refillable water provided to the cotton swabs in a jar rather than wrapped in plastic.
